Diary Progress

October 2011

First Meeting at the sports club for interested parties

May 2012

Temporary Licence, First Rental deposits made, bank account opened, land ploughed and marked out.

July 2012

First grant received for water installation and tenancy agreements signed.

March 2013

2 more grants and rabbit/deer fencing erected.

Summer 2013

The water is now installed and we hope to have the communal shed up soon

welcome Why have an Allotment?
You’ve probably heard on the radio and on several TV programmes, that Allotment gardening can give you a really good feeling as you “grow your own”. It can also be a social activity, as each holder helps the other. It is said to contribute to the better quality of peoples’ lives.
Location, Cost and Size of Plots
The site is opposite to the entrance to the Rings at the East of the Village, it is accessed through the gates of the Sports Field.

Full plot -20m x 10m -£30 a year in advance for a full plot
Each Half plot -10m x 10m -£20 a year in advance for half plot plus water charge.
